a few months again

i look across at hamilton lights
it has been a muggy toronto night.

i wonder where you are
through the open balcony window

snoring and talking in her sleep
hearing the old lady next door,

some nights
i fear you more.

i wonder who you are now.
revisiting lights of old,
floating around in a digital universe.

reminded of the infinity
and then we're gone.

who she used to be,
at that time.

four years ago.
haunting myself.?
picking at the scab..is it a scab?
is it a scar
i know somethings there
you/i might not be able to see it.

the thought certainly is
but fleeting, undefined
illusion?
are we growing up?

four years ago,
some places five,
is an eternity.
logically
it's about 5 per cent of a lifetime,
that being if we live to eighty..

i think of our deep red curtains
red wine and senility..

this coldest summer on record
but with
the heat revisited
a portion of our time here
has filled me with joy.

receiving your number the past week
surprised and yet didn't
a regular progression
we're both still alive i see,

I for one don't know about you,
but sometimes at least momentarily
cast my thoughts on
autumn's sweater weather.

Beyond the chocolate factory

I woke up quite late today; too late to get to work on time. I then decided on a little urban exploration/photographic journey. I've always passed by this building either biking, walking or if I'm lucky getting a car ride somewhere: head out window, tongue dangling, yes like a dog; And I've always thought how cool it would be to check out the inside. Also, if you haven't yet, I highly prescribe a walk by the chocolate factory. It smells the smell of a thousand Aero bars melting on the best summer afternoon of your life.

------insert chocolate factory image here----- there we are...

Though it was raining and despite being pursued very slowly by security after a few minutes, I managed to only take a few shots, and can barely describe visually the awesomeness of this place. I now realize there's more to urban exploration than I had originally thought. Homework. You've got to do some preliminary scouting/observing to get the visual pudding your mind has promised. Although I got some imageratorial candy-bars, there's plenty more I could have gotten my grubby hands on had I known there really was security. Of the sweets I found here's whats left to share with you.

I had so little time there, I've even posted this poor excuse of an exposure to give you an idea of the place...

note in the background: security's crack squad of one I know now to avoid

Rexdale Revisit 2010 (a drive-by)

Family Day, Adrienne Chris and I went out to the Woodbine Mall in Etobicoke for reasons unknown... Being so close to where I once lived/schooled for three years I decided to take them on a sentimental journey just like the song!
